About Me:

My name is Heather Green. Hear my radio show weekdays from 10am-3pm on Froggy 104.3 (Pittsburgh) Froggy 103.5 (Ohio Valley) and Froggy 94.9 (Mon Valley).  Every weekday at noon I’ll play what you want me to on the All Request Business Lunch.  Tweet your songs to @HeatherOnFroggy or call 1-866-983-9898. 

I’m originally from Pittsburgh but I came to Froggyland from Green Bay Wisconsin.  No one there enjoyed my black and gold paraphernalia. 

High School/College:I went to high school at North Allegheny and college at Westminster. I think the Amish people in Lawrence County like country, but I’m not sure because they didn’t have radios.

Hometown: Born in Bridgeville, raised in the Wild, Wild Wex (Wexford). I spent time at a few radio stations around the country but I’m so glad to be back home in the ‘Burgh!

Favorite Music: Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean

Favorite Song: Lauren Alaina’s “Like My Mother Does” because it reminds me of how amazing my own mother was.  She passed away in December 2011.  

Favorite Hobby/Interests/Activities: the gym, Steelers, Pens, Pirates, South Side, skiing, hanging out with my Granny

Favorite TV Show: I like Two and A Half Men, Pittsburgh Dad, and whatever’s on HLN.

Favorite Movie: I like movies made in Pittsburgh! Flashdance is my favorite Pittsburgh movie. 

Favorite Food: Pizza

Beverage of Choice: I feel like this is a trick question the boss set up on the website. 

Worst Fear: Not scared of a whole lot. I did 4 back flips out of an airplane. 

Pet Peeves: Poking on Facebook

Favorite celebrity you’ve met: I met Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) from Full House. I beat him in Full House trivia.  Met Jason Aldean before he EXPLODED, too, but didn’t get to talk to him much.

Hidden Talents:  Money management.  I could have been an accountant but radio seemed more fun. 
 

Is there anybody you would still love to meet that you haven’t? I’ve always had the goal to meet Snooki before I turn 30.  I think that little nugget would be fun to tailgate with before a Stiller game. Or a Chesney concert.
