A little about Boss Frog on 104.3 in the morning...

Hometown: Grew up in Johnstown, PA, I now live in Sunny Moon Township ?!?!?

Favorite Song:  This changes every 3 seconds, right now I would say it's I like girls that drink beer money by Toby Keith Moore (see what I mean)

Favorite Hobby/Interests/Activities: I'm a golfer, though not a good one. In the summer, if I'm not golfing I am probably at PNC Park believing that "yes, this really is the year". I'm also a big Pens and Steelers fan and try to get to Chapel Hill, NC to see the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team at least once a year.

Favorite TV Show:  The Office, I have also seen every episode of The King of Queens probably 3 times.

Favorite Movie:  Slapshot (I'm from Johnstown) All the Rocky movies (minus V, what was that?) and Joe Dirt. Don't laugh, life's a garden.

Favorite Food: I'm pretty simple guy, pizza and beer is my idea of the perfect meal.

Worst Fear: The ski lift that takes you from Kennywood to the parking lot. Rode it once and will never do it again.

Most Memorable Radio Moment: In 2011 we organized a supply drive for the victims of the Bloomsburg, PA flood. We filled an entire tractor trailer and I got to escort the truck to Bloomsburg to deliver the supplies. The radio stations there met us and the truck and invited listeners to come get whatever they needed. It was amazing and inspiring to see how a little community service could go such a long way in helping a town that really needed it.

Most Memorable Celebrity Encounter: I met Mario Lemieux, it was memorable because it was Mario Lemiuex, although when I spoke to him I was so star struck all I could say was "Happy Birthday", I have no idea if it was his Birthday but that's the only thing that came out of my mouth. He said thanks, man and that was the end of it.

A little about Wendy on 103.5 in the morning with James Pond...

About Me: How does full time career woman, mom, homemaker, caregiver, sports fanatic, golf addict, and avid reader sound? That’s me, all rolled into one!

High School/College: South Allegheny High School (go Glads!) and Edinboro University, home of the fighting Scots!

Hometown: grew up in Liberty Boro, now live in the home of Dean Martin....Steubenville, OH!

Favorite Music: Love all kinds of music because it puts me in a good mood. The coolest musician I was able to hang-out with is Kenny Chesney before he was big. I took him a bottle of wine and two Dixie cups and we hung out behind his bus at the PG Pavilion and partied.

Favorite Song: all-time favorite song? Whew! I really can't pick just one because every time I hear one that I THINK is my favorite I hear another one and think the same thing!

Favorite Hobby/Interests/Activities: A day in the life of Wendy Green after the Green Team wraps up a show? Power nap, power walk, power read, power eat, power sleep. Up and back at it again at 2:30am! Love walking, reading, eating, golfing, but most of all....sleeping!

Favorite TV Show: Seinfeld, The Sopranos. Ain't nuttin' better. Period.

Favorite Movie: To Kill a Mockingbird. Plain and simple. Almost named my daughter, "Scout" after one of the lead characters but then Demi Moore went and did it so I didn't.

Favorite Food: Trust me, I will eat anything. And probably love it!

Beverage of Choice: um, it rhymes with beer...

Worst Fear: merging in traffic......I'm on an anti-merge campaign.

Pet Peeves: I absolutely cannot stand when people litter. Why would someone want to dirty this beautiful earth?  I also really get peeved when I find gum stuck to the bottom of a seat like at a Steeler Game or when I take my mother to the movies!

Favorite celebrity you’ve met: Paul McCartney and his late wife, Linda. No question. An indescribable moment in my life and I was extremely lucky to get the chance.

Hidden Talents: oddly enough, I can remember telephone numbers even after I'm only told them once. Isn't there something I can take for that?!

Is there anybody you would still love to meet that you haven’t? The man who invented the alarm clock so I could box his ears!

Something you just want everybody to know: I'm a natural blonde.

A little about Pete Moss on 94.9 in the Morning...

Been doing this radio thing for quite some time. The radio bug hit me at a very young age and there is no drug known to man that can cure it and that’s great because I don’t want to be cured. I have a great wife Diane who has put up with this radio lifestyle and currently have  two fur babies…17 year old John Boy, the Italian Greyhound and the ever loveable Abby The Beagle.

High School/College:

I grew up in the Lehigh Valley near Allentown, PA. (Billy Joel did a song about us that was not embraced by the Chamber Of Commerce at the time.)  A Southern Lehigh Spartan and I went to college at Ashland University.

Favorite Music:

I am all over the charts here. Let’s break these up into categories:

Country-Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Blake & Miranda and Taylor Swift.

Non Country- U2, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Clarkson, and the Beatles.

Hobby/Interests: History, Sports (Phillies, Eagles, Steelers, Flyers, USC Football, University of Arizona Basketball)

Favorite TV Show: All time has to be Seinfeld. My favorite new show is Alcatraz.

And slowly my interest in “The Voice” is growing and my interest in “American Idol” is waning.

Favorite Movies:  Godfather 1 and 2, Star Wars Series, Rocky 1,2,3., Footloose (original), Back To The Future 1-2-3.

Favorite Food:  Pizza!   Most Italian dishes, Philly Cheesesteaks, Turkey Hoagies,

 etc etc etc….

Beverage of Choice:  Beer.  I also drink plenty of water every day.

Worst Fear:  Locking myself out of the station while I’m on the air. It has never happened and I hope it never does.

Pet Peeves: Smoking. I really feel sorry for folks who have this habit. The cost alone will kill you eventually if cancer doesn’t.

Favorite Celebrities I’ve met:   Wolfman Jack! The original shock jock. Carrie Underwood, and talk show host Larry King.

Final Thoughts:  I am getting to love Froggyland. The people,  passion for their sports teams, Premante’s sandwiches.  It’s no wonder why Pittsburgh is the #1 city to live in the country. I’m thrilled to be here and may the ride here be a long run!

The Green Team's ON-AIR Memories...

Funniest ON-AIR Interview:
Wendy: We love having guest artists come into the studio. When Josh Gracin came in and played video games with us on our computer it was a blast. Then when Kenny Chesney spent an hour with us in his flip flops and baseball cap acting just like our next door neighbor we were amazed!

Funniest ON-AIR Moment:

Wendy: When Phil Vassar called the Froggy phone one morning from his car as he was taking his kids to school. He just chatted as if he was a normal husband/father (he was married at the time) and we could hear the kids talking and laughing. It was soooo real and simple.

Worst ON-AIR Moment:

Wendy: haven't had one yet....thank God!
